Spa Body Wraps

Spa Body Wraps

A spa body wrap is a luxurious treatment designed to nourish, detoxify, and hydrate the skin while promoting relaxation and overall wellness. The process typically involves several steps:

Exfoliation

Before applying the wrap, the body is often exfoliated with dry brushing or a scrub to remove dead skin cells and allow better absorption of the wrap’s ingredients.

Application of the main ingredients

A specialized mixture—such as seaweed, mud, clay, herbal blends, or moisturizing creams—is applied to the body. The ingredients used depend on the desired benefits, such as detoxification, hydration, or firming the skin.

Wrapping

The body is cocooned or wrapped in sheets or thermal blankets to create warmth, which helps the ingredients penetrate the skin while promoting sweating and circulation.

Relaxation Period

Clients typically relax for 20–30 minutes while the wrap works its magic. This period allows for deep absorption of nutrients and promotes relaxation.

Rinse and Moisturization

After the wrap is removed, the body is rinsed off (if needed), and a hydrating lotion or oil is applied to leave the skin soft and nourished.
